Serena A. Kramer
(Staff Attorney)

Serena was born in Memphis, but has lived in Houston most of her life. She attended George Washington University and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and her law degree from South Texas College of Law. She has two little boys, Nicholas and Johnny, with her husband, Evan, a Plainview native. Serena joined Singleton ♦ Cooksey in 1992, working principally as a litigator and appellate lawyer. After leaving in 2001 to be a full-time mom, she has recently returned to the firm on a part-time basis, focusing primarily on real estate work, although she remains involved in the litigation section concerning alternative dispute resolution matters. Serena spends much of her free time volunteering at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where she has been a volunteer since 2001, at Travis Elementary School where her boys attend school, and with the Homeless Pet Placement League where she has served as an officer and director of the organization.
